Veteran's Day Parade & Program Held in Taylorsville, Utah on November 11,2011


     Celebrate Veteran's Day with a fun parade located in the city of Taylorsville in Utah. United Veterans Council & City of Taylorsville presents the Veteran's Day Parade & Program!

    On, November 11, 2011, the small parade will start at 11:00 AM. The parade route will start on 2700 West near the Rec Center and Library in Taylorsville. The parade will finish by going south on 2700 W. and will turn left onto 5400 S. The parade will end near the Taylorsville City Hall.      A special program will start at 12:15 PM after the parade at the Taylorsville City Hall. The special speaker is the Utah Governor, Gary Herbert. There will be a special Memorial Unveiling that you will not want to miss. This unveiling is just the first of nine sculptures of the future Veterans Memorial. 

    Flag ceremonies, recognition of Taylorsville students in the poster and essay contests, patriotic musical numbers, memorabilia from World War II, Vietnam, Iraq, Korean, and Afghanistan Wars, military helicopter static display and fly-over, and historic military displays are also scheduled for the program that you won't want to miss.
